A name or location entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and delivers its result. We do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.

When you email us, we may retain the message to prepare and send a response. It remains within our team unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

Our servers receive routine technical details when a page loads, which may include:

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not maintain, combine, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The site publishes general directions to records held by the Lynn County Sheriff, the courts, Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or dossiers about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information entered there is handled under that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each partner controls its own retention, processing, and sharing practices, so review those terms before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Lynn County offices, Texas agencies, court systems, public registries, legal resources, and outside search services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy rules govern. Review them before providing personal details.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to track activity across websites and select targeted ads. That processing occurs on their systems, not ours.

Your Data Rights
Applicable Texas privacy and consumer-protection law may grant additional rights based on a person's circumstances. The Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, governs access to information held by Texas governmental bodies, while Government Code Chapter 411 controls dissemination of Texas criminal-history record information. Those public-record laws do not turn this private site into a government custodian. At minimum, a visitor may:
- Opt out of certain processing where that choice is offered
- Ask that personal data be deleted
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Ask for a copy of personal information we hold
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy. A revised version takes effect when posted here with its new effective date, so visitors may return to review changes in our data practices.
